Association for a United World (AMU) AMU is an NGO (Non Government Organization) started in 1986 and duly recognized by the Department of Foreign Affairs (Italy), dealing with projects for development , formation and education in developing countries.
AMU draws its inspiration from the spirituality of the Focolare Movement and intends to spread the culture of dialogue and unity among peoples. It is committed to bringing forth activities of sustainable cooperation setting the premises for an effective development, respecting the social, cultural and economic local reality by getting the local populations involved.
Projects carried out so far are related to providing primary needs of people (life, shelter, food, clothing, health, education) as well as developing agriculture and cottage industries, offering basic education and organizing activities aimed at social development and the formation of the human person, including professional formation.
